I’ve been working so hard making pots, glazing, firing then doing all over again. I’ve never been able to work this consistently before and it’s coming with great rewards, such as: improving upon an idea, developing ideas to a more completed state and being consistent in a body of work I am producing. It’s so great to be able to really work hard and be proud of what’s coming out of the kiln.

oh Annie.. I wish I was in town! I would so come to the show on Dec 5th! I would send my parents in my place, since I know they would love it also, but they will be out of town that week as well.. BUMMER! Maybe I’ll have to stop by for a peak and see what’s left when I come up for Thanksgiving! Since your stuff is so awesome!! = )

annie, this work is so exciting! And I’m about to fall on my face prostrate before the Lord that your show is on the 5th, and Katy’s is on the 4th!!!!! I had Katy’s show on my calendar as the 4th all along, but everyone kept telling me there was a conflict; and of course, I didn’t trust myself. Yeah!!! Dad and I can be there and help and wrap and check out and serve food and shmooze and do whatever you want us to do!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh, girl, this is an answer to prayer. Love, Mom

I am so excited about your show too, Annie! How awesome! The top right pictures caught my eye, too. I thought they were pie dishes. So come on, tell us, what are they?!
Glad you are able to get so much good work done! Thanks for sharing it with us.

Hi, Annie. I wrote on the very same subject just minutes ago! Gotta be in the studio to get anywhere! So nice of you to drop in on my blog and to introduce yourself to me. I will enjoy following your blog, I know. I have not used the Kate Clear more than just for that test but I will. I am certain I used it too thick–I still have to learn how to judge the thickness of my glazes. Oh, so much to learn.
