some process
my image taking setup.
very ghetto but love it. not only can i hide from my 3 yr. old son so he’s not curious about all of this, but it’s quite quaint.
the backdrop is from www.phototechinc.com
i use the gray to black backdrop.
The light box is made from foam core and fabric backing.
The bulbs i use are 300 watt and i set my white balance on my camera using a gray card.
I use foam core with fabric backing to diffuse the light defusers.
a friend just told me a new bit of advice about using foil on one side of object instead of a light on either side. this help take the glare away.
I’ve been using a clear glossy glaze and this is causing a lot of hot spots (which is the glare).
Can’t wait to try this new trick. thanks Joy

How cool! I need something like that to display my cakes! I’m so excited you have all of this at your fingertips! It’s just amazing how God has provided and He will continue to do so!

I have always LOVED this setup. I am just happy that you are able to do this all on your own now and not have to send it out. I think that the pictures are always gorgeous, but that is also b/c your pots are gorgeous! It was so much seeing them displayed at Will’s party.
